Oh no! There's no way this can happen, I feel like if they start a Go Fund Me, they would raise the much needed funds asap.
The amusement pier was ordered by a court to be put up for auction on Jan. 21 because the owner, who is also the resort city's mayor, has defaulted on $8 million in loans.
But Mayor Jay Gillian, who owns the pier, said in a statement to NBC10, "I want to reassure our loyal guests that Wonderland Pier will be open for business, as usual, for the 2021 season," Gillian said in a statement.
