The Andie Summers Show

Weekdays 5:30AM-10AM

Do you know a frontline hero that has stepped up to the plate during the pandemic? Well, the Phillies just might honor them.

The team plans to proudly display banners with 41 essential workers outside Citizens Bank Park this summer.

The honorees selected will get a photoshoot at Citizens Bank Park for their banner which will be up in time for the Phillies Home Opener on Thursday, April 1st.

The frontline heroes to be nominated include, but not limited to,  first responders, local healthcare workers, sanitation workers, law enforcement officials, teachers, grocery store staff, delivery personnel, volunteers, and other essential workers.

Michael Harris, Phillies Vice President, Marketing & New Media said, “There can never be enough gratitude shown to the extraordinary men and women who have been on the front lines since the onset of the pandemic.  Their bravery and commitment to the community is remarkable. With the help of our fans, some of these amazing individuals who go above and beyond each day will now be honored in a unique and memorable way at Citizens Bank Park.”

To nominate a frontline worker, fans can upload a video to Phillies.com/frontlineheroes telling the Phillies about their hero and why they should be honored.

All videos must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13.
