Post Malone Covers Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her” During We’re Texas Benefit Concert
Post Malone tried out a different style of music during Sunday’s We’re Texas benefit concert when he did a cover of Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her.”
The former Texas resident and rapper performed the 2002 hit with the Dwight Yoakam’s band.
We’re Texas also highlighted performances from Texas stars Kacey Musgraves, Charlie Sexton, George Strait, Clint Black, Kelly Clarkson, Gary Clark. Jr., Miranda Lambert, and Willie Nelson. Parker McCollum, Khalid, Leon Bridges, Kirk Franklin, Lukas Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Don Henley, Randy Rogers, Los Lonely Boys and more also performed.
The benefit concert also had special guests including Dr. Phil McGraw, Chip and Joanna Gaines, the Jonas Brothers, Angie Harmon, Dak Prescott, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Megan Thee Stallion, and Selena Gomez. Michael Strahan, Liza Koshy, Clayton Kershaw, Renee Zellweger, Colt McCoy, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Woody Harrelson, Joe Rogan, Troy Aikman, and Jordan Spieth were also in attendance.
The event was put together by Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey and aired on Sunday, March 21st on McConaughey’s YouTube channel.
The Just Keep Livin’ Foundation’s Texas Relief Fund will be distributing the proceeds from the concert. They will go to numerous non-profit organizations including Meals on Wheels Central Texas, Team Rubicon, Save the Children, Salvation Army of Texas, Bernard Project (SBP), Austin Disaster Relief Network, and many others.
