Dog Stops Traffic in Canada to Save Owner Having Medical Emergency
A loyal dog from Canada put her life at risk to help save owner suffering medical emergency on Tuesday.
Haley Moore was taking her dog Clover for a walk through their Stittsville, Ottawa neighborhood when she suddenly suffered a seizure.
Footage captured from a neighbor’s security camera showed Moore stumble then fall onto a driveway.
The one-year-old Maremma mix is seen immediately going over to check on her owner and stand by her side.
Clover sees a vehicle coming and makes her way to the middle of the roading blocking the street and forcing it to stop.
Dryden Oatway, the driver told CTV News that Clover’s efforts were “really impressive.” Oatway got out of his vehicle and went to check on Moore all while Clover kept watch. “She kept her distance from me but made sure her owner was okay and that was amazing,” Oatway said.
Clover also grabbed the attention of Danielle Pilon, another neighbor who quickly went to get Moore’s parents. By the time her parents arrived at the scene, she was already being treated by paramedics.
Moore has recovered from the incident and Clover was rewarded with steaks for doing “such a great job.”
