I live in Delaware County and I can tell you the frustration over the lack of vaccination appointments there has been real. Not even the most urgent needs were being met. As of last week the county was still only offering vaccines to group 1A. That’s all about to change. This weekend Delaware County is opening a large-scale drive-thru community vaccination clinic at Delaware County Community College. Thanks to an influx of 21,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, 7,000 more doses of Moderna and 2,340 doses of Pfizer they are able to open up appointments. Each week following, the county will receive about 20,000 doses. Shots will be administered by appointment only, but they’re making it easier for you to sign up for your appointment online.
