Luke Bryan said he was surprised that he won the ACM's top award of Entertainer of the Year on Sunday (4/18) and he explained why, in the "virtual press room" after his win.
Luke said, "I'm a little removed from being able to be in the room, and I wish so bad I could've been in the room, but still, the emotions are there."
He added, "You never take these things for granted. You just don't. I think you kinda tell yourself maybe you're done winning them, and to win another one is very special."
Bryan is recovered fromCOVID -19 and was back on Sunday (4/18) in his judge's chair on American Idol.
Luke posted to Instagram that he was feeling better on Sunday, "I’m BACK and I’ll see y’all shortly for American Idol! We’re live at 8/7c and voting starts at the top of the show. Tune in! #americanidol."
