[LISTEN] The Rock Wants to Pay for Your Guacamole with “Guac on The Rock”
I sat down with Resa Mueller, a bartender with 15 years of experience, from R&D in Fishtown to talk all things tequila, including something very cool Dwayne Johnson A.K.A. The Rock is doing to help get people in the door of local area restaurants.
The Rock owns Teremana Tequila company and from Saturday, May 1 through Wednesday May 5, he is giving you a pretty good excuse to indulge in some Teremana tequila cocktails.
For every Teremana cocktail and guacamole purchase The Rock will reimburse your guac purchase. All you have to do is upload your receipt to guacontherock.com and Dwayne will personally reimburse U.S. restaurant & bar goers!
Of course we couldn’t just talk tequila, we had to make some cocktails too! Resa showed me how to make The People’s Margarita using Teremana Blanco. You can make it too! Grab the ingredients below and check out the video for step by step instructions:
Ingredients:
2 oz. Teremana Blanco
.75 oz. Lime Juice
.5 oz. Agave Nectar
1 oz. Pineapple Juice (to taste)
We all know tequila and guacamole compliment each other so well, but Resa shared other items that pair well with some Teremana.
