A California man is bringing hope to his town in a very unique way.
Jim Preston from Menlo Park has been spelling out inspirational words of aspiration with rubber duckies for months now. He started in hopes to bring cheer during such a difficult lockdown period.
Preston displays the creations on his front yard for all to see.
The words display messages of wisdom, hope and encouragement.
Chandrama Anderson told GNN that she first came across the photos on the NextDoor app according to Good News Network. Shorty after she started seeing the creative words on her walks everyday.
“For my husband’s 60th birthday under Covid lockdown, when there weren’t many ways to make a birthday special, I asked Jim to use his ducks to spell out ‘Happy Birthday Locke,’ and he did!”
He was "thrilled" Anderson confirmed.
