Lauren Alaina to Star in Hallmark Movie this September

I just love when two of my favorite things come together, country music and Hallmark Channel movies!

Lauren Alaina just announced on Instagram that she is starring in a Hallmark Channel movie coming out in September also starring one of my favorites Tyler Hynes!

 Alaina's film will premiere on September 11th as part of Hallmark Channel's Fall Harvest programming.

According to Deadline the film is called Roadhouse Romance and it follows Lieutenant Callie Jackson played by Alaina who returns home after a military tour who comes home to find out her late grandfather's BBQ joint is struggling and her past romance has moved on. She has a run in with Luke played by Tyler Hynes, a TV director passing through town, and based on the promo photos we can all guess what happens there.

Two of Alaina's songs "Run" and "What Do You Think Of" will also be featured in the movie.

Back in April we got to chat with Lauren ahead of the ACM Awards and she wasn't able to attend because she was filming in Canada, although she couldn't talk about it I had a feeling it was for Hallmark.
