Luke Bryan has been put on vocal rest by his wife Caroline because, as he shared on his Instagram, he lost his voice during Sunday's Georgia Bulldogs game where his team won the National College Football Championship.

Caroline shared a photo on her Instagram of her with blue tape over her husband's mouth. She wrote, "He’s on vocal rest after his EXCESSIVE screaming at National Championship game… can’t say I’m too unhappy about it! I plan on talking nonstop and annoying the hell out of him. 😈"

Luke's mom responded to the post saying, "AIN’T NO WAY, TRUST ME."

Bryan himself shared via video on his Instagram promoting his new "Up" video why he lost his voice, saying in part, "I lost my voice at the Georgia Bulldog game." He laughed saying, "Pray for my voice."
