Garth Brooks has added Boston’s Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts to his 2022 stadium tour on May 21, and tickets for the show will go on sale next Friday, January 28.

Garth said in a press release, “That New England area doesn’t get [called] ‘The Capitol of Country Music,’ but I can tell you anybody – anybody – that’s ever played there will tell you the same thing – they know their country music inside and out.”

It was Boston’s Kraft family (who own the Patriots) who originally gave Brooks the encouragement he needed to stage his Stadium Tour. He shared, “They said, ‘Hey, man – you need to do stadiums.’ I told ’em I wouldn’t even know how to start.’ They said, ‘Come on up!’ So we went up…walked the field…talked to them… and they were the reasons why we started the Stadium Tour.”

Garth’s Foxborough performance is the latest addition to the Stadium Tour, which begins March 5, 2022, with a sold-out event in San Diego.
