Ouuu how fun! Also, this is my friend V’s restaurant, and she’s awesome!
Craftsman Row Saloon announces the debut of Philadelphia’s only Mardi Gras Pop-Up Bar starting this Thursday, February 6th and running through Fat Tuesday. Get ready for the sights, sounds and tastes of New Orleans in a new experience unlike anything else in Philly.
Owners George and Vasiliki Tsiouris will transport guests to Bourbon Street and The Big Easy with a complete take-over of their entire Center City restaurant and bar. Look for shimmering gold, green and purple decorations, beads, feathers, masks and more transforming the dining room from top to bottom, floor to ceiling, wall to wall. Throughout the restaurant, look for mini vignettes that shout out and pay homage to some of New Orleans’ most famous streets and destinations. In the background, listen for your favorite Mardi Gras, New Orleans, Mummers and Jazz inspired tunes.
For the menu, get ready to crown yourself King of Bourbon Street with a special over-the-top milkshake creation featuring real king cake on top and in the shake, with white chocolate, cinnamon, powdered donut, caramel drizzle, beads and festive sprinkles.
Food additions also include the King Cake Sweet Potato Fries and the Dirty Rice with Shrimp, Ground Beef, Peppers and Onions.
Raise a glass as if you were on Bourbon Street with festive and fun cocktails that come with their own souvenir, like beads, masks and Mardi Gras decor.
Each person dining during the pop-up will also leave with a free set of beads as a thank you and souvenir memento.
