Thomas Rhett was front and center at Monday night’s (3/7) ACM awards in Las Vegas, performing twice and walking the red carpet, but before the show, he was dealing with a wardrobe malfunction.
In an interview before the show began, Thomas told ET and asked the cameraman to keep the shot above his waist. He revealed, “My zipper fell off right before, so I’m taped up. So, I’m trying to stand really still right now, so make sure the camera’s just like right here.”
Although he didn’t take home award hardware for the night, he did say he’s got a big trip planned with his wife Lauren for his upcoming birthday (3/30). Rhett offered, “We are going to Telluride, Colorado. It’s like one of our favorite places to go, and mom and dad haven’t had a ‘just us two’ trip in a minute, so we’re looking forward to it.”
Thomas did say that he would be spending a day with his four daughters for his birthday. He said, “I’ll be 32, which is crazy to me, probably just a chill day with the kids. They will probably make me a sweet little birthday card or something like that.”
Rhett did share some video on his Insta stories today (3/9) of him and his wife Lauren fly fishing and him blow-drying her cold feet. He captioned the video, “Fly fishing in March, see you later toes @laur_atkins.”
