Kane Brown recently posted a clip of his brand new song "Bury Me In Georgia," saying he has finished work on his next album, expected sometime this year.

Going into next week's (4/11) CMT Music Awards, for which he is a multiple nominee, Kane talked with Billboard about the album, which he can't wait for fans to hear.

Brown said of the newly completed work, "I am sending my album off for mastering tomorrow, But the album's done and should be out sometime this year."

He even noted that his wife Katelyn Brown would also be on the album, something he says his fans have long been asking for. Kane said, "I took time with this album, and I love every song on the album. My wife says it's her favorite album I've ever done."

While this new album is expected to be all-new material, he's thinking down the road of doing an album of cover songs. He offered, "I've thought about that for this album, about putting several cover songs on it. I had like 20 or 25 cover songs that did well for me, so I think the smartest thing would be to just go back and cover those again. I know my fans have asked."
