As a new mom I learned how many things babies needed, and also what they didn't need, and one thing you want to make sure they have is a car seat that isn't expired or damaged. If you do however have a hammy down car seat you can trade it into Target for a deal.

Target's car seat trade-in event takes place April 18 - April 30. When you trade in any car seat, you can get a 20% off coupon for a new car seat, booster seat, stroller, or other select baby gear item.

According to the Target website, baby gear includes the following:

  • Car seat
  • Car seat base
  • Travel system
  • Booster seat
  • Stroller
  • Playards
  • High chairs
  • Swings
  • Rockers
  • Bouncers
  • Walkers
  • Entertainers
  • Jumpers

Your Target coupon can be redeemed through May 14, 2022. Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Target’s partner, Waste Management. This is great for customers and the environment. From April 18-30, 2022, guests will have the opportunity to recycle an old, expired, or damaged car seat and redeem a coupon on their Target app or Target.com/circle for 20% off one car seat, or stroller, or select baby gear. The coupon can be redeemed through May 14, 2022. Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Target’s partner, Waste Management.

This program is one-way Target is working to make it easier for their guests to make and access more sustainable choices, and to drive progress for our sustainability commitments through Target Forward, which includes commitments to eliminate waste.

2020 made a lot of first time mom and dads out of these country artists as well as gave some country parents another little bundle of joy to add to the mix.
