Country music artists took to social media to express their thoughts on the tragic school shooting in Texas, where 19 children and two adults were killed on Tuesday (5/24).

Miranda Lambert posted to her Insta stories an outline of the state of Texas along with a broken heart emoji. She wrote, “Pray for Uvalde, Texas.”

Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild wrote on Insta stories, “Let us take a moment to honor the sacrifice of our brave school children who lay down their lives to protect our right to bear arms.”

Lady A’s Hillary Scott shared a video clip of a lady therapist telling us how to tell our children about the shooting. She wrote, “Thankful for this incredible woman’s voice every day.”

Tyler Hubbard wrote on his Insta stories, “These families don’t need our ‘thoughts and prayers,’ they need gun reform.”

Jimmie Allen tweeted that “my heart is broken.”

Breland noted that laws that make it easier for mass shootings to occur is “everything but ‘pro-life.'”
