It’s obvious that there are guns in the city of Philadelphia and the police department is trying to lessen that by hosting a gun buyback event at Lincoln Financial Field today from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The event is being held in partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles, who wore orange practice jerseys on June 3 to raise awareness for National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
