Dolly Parton visited the construction site of Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort last week (6/24), marking her first appearance at the property, which is slated to open in late 2023.

After announcing the details of the new lodge, Dolly talked about how "the little girl inside her" felt about all the dreams she had seen come true in her East Tennessee home since she first broke ground at Dollywood in 1986. She offered, "That little girl inside of me goes 'Wow' every single day that I've been able to see so many of my dreams comes true. But nobody dreams alone. It's like: it's one thing to dream, and like I've always said, when you dream, you have to put wings, legs, feet, hands, and everything on them, and that means you've also got to find the right people to help you make those dreams come true."

She added, "So I have been so fortunate in life to have been blessed with great people all through my lifetime to help me see my dreams come true."

Parton also announced that she's going to convert her former tour bus into "the ultimate hotel suite." Now located at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa, the Suite 1986 Tour Bus Experience illustrates another facet of the country music icon's life: the free-spirited traveler. The Prevost was Parton's home away from home as she traversed the country throughout the last 15 years.
