Carrie Underwood is ‘Sad’ She Didn’t Get To Sing With Two Music Icons

Carrie Underwood is a fan of all kinds of music and recently showed her love for Ozzy Osbourne by covering one of his classics for her Apple live set and her passion for Guns N’ Roses by performing with them at two shows in London.

Carrie talked about her love of George Michael and Wham! in a recent interview with Elle, “I am sad I never got to sing with George Michael; he was somebody that was definitely important to me growing up just hearing his voice, loving his voice so much, and falling in love with his voice at such an early age.”

She added, “And Freddie Mercury is another one. Those definitely are ones that I will forever be sad about.”

George Michael died on Christmas Day in 2016, and Queen’s Freddie Mercury died in November 1991.
