The biggest ice cream social Philadelphia has ever seen is coming soon… and it’s for charity!
Moose Tracks Ice Cream is bringing 10,000 scoops of FREE Hershey’s® Moose Tracks Ice Cream to Philadelphia at Dilworth Park (1 S 15th St. Philadelphia, PA 19102) on Tuesday, August 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For each scoop served, Moose Tracks will donate $1 to The Salvation Army in Greater Philadelphia in hopes of raising $10,000 in just four hours to help fund ongoing community projects.
One scoop equals $1 raised for charity! For every scoop eaten, Moose Tracks will donate $1, with the goal of scooping 10,000 Hershey’s Moose Tracks Ice Cream cones for the Philadelphia community and raising $10,000 for The Salvation Army in just four hours.
Scoopers will be handing out both Original Moose Tracks Ice Cream and new Banana PB Moose Tracks. Original Moose Tracks is the legendary flavor featuring decadent Moose Tracks Fudge and peanut butter cups swirled into vanilla ice cream. Banana PB Moose Tracks is a fruity combination of banana flavored ice cream, peanut butter flakes and, of course, famous Moose Tracks fudge.
This new flavor is currently only available at Hershey’s Ice Cream Parlors. Since its inception in 1894, Hershey’s Ice Cream has made premium ice cream products in bulk tubs, pints, scrounds, and small novelties, putting smiles on faces of all ages for generations. Hershey’s Ice Cream is the REAL ice cream experience. *Not affiliated with The Hershey Company, makers of Hershey Chocolate.
Moose Tracks hosted its inaugural 10,000 Scoops Challenge event in Grand Rapids, Mich. in 2010 and has since visited over 40 cities and raised over $400,000 for local charities.
Moose Tracks is partnering with Hershey’s Ice Cream to bring the event to life in Philadelphia and will be serving 10,000 scoops of Hershey’s Moose Tracks Ice Cream. Local celebrities are invited to scoop for a cause and will be putting their muscles to the test while donating their time in support of The Salvation Army. The faith-based nonprofit serves individuals in need through its food distribution services, shelter and housing programs, education and recreation programs for youth, anti-human trafficking assistance, holiday assistance, and more.
