Keith Urban helped one couple reveal their baby’s gender on stage at a show in Orange Beach, Alabama, at the Wharf Amphitheater.

Keith saw a sign in the crowd asking him to help with the baby reveal, and he obliged by first asking the crowd what they thought it might be. After they cheered loudly for their pick, Urban said, “Interesting, the consensus from the audience was largely girl.”

He then pulled the sticky note off the poster and joked, “And the Academy Award for best baby makers is… It’s a boy,” to which the dad on stage was thrilled. Keith then hugged the mom-to-be and the dad, congratulating them, and said, “How about it, Alabama, revealing babies.”

  Possibly one of my favorite songs of all time. It’s so simple yet so good, and he and Carrie’s vocals together are amazing! Love the lyrics and the melody. Keith said he wrote the song after having a conversation with his wife Nicole when they first got together. It was his way of reassuring her he would always be there for her.
