Cost of Ocean City Beach Tags Proposed to Increase Significantly for Next Summer!
Double seems a bit extreme. Although keeping the beaches clean and safe are always a top priority.
Here are the details from PhillyVoice:
A public hearing and final vote on the proposal to raise prices is scheduled for the shore town’s Oct. 20 council meeting.
Should the plan pass final vote, seasonal pass prices would raise from the current $25 to $35. People who purchase seasonal passes before May 31 will still receive a preseason discount, but the discounted price would raise from the current $20 up to $30.
Both weekly and daily pass prices would double. Weekly beach tags would increase from $10 to $20, and daily beach tag prices would increase from $5 to $10.
