Carrie Underwood: Venue Has Some Horror Fun with Country Superstar
Carrie Underwood played for a packed Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Sunday night (10/23), and when she got to her dressing room, she found something playing on the TV there that was quite amusing and a bit concerning.
Carrie posted several video clips on her Insta stories of horror movies with her face imposed over the film’s villain. She wrote over the first clip featuring her in The Shining, “These scary movie clips were playing on the TVs in my dressing room… Why am I the baddie (heart emoji)?”
She posted a second clip of her as Ghostface from Scream, writing, “Another one… (laughing emojis).”
Underwood also posted photos of pumpkins that the Forum had carved, one of Carrie’s face and another that read the name of her tour and the date she played the Fiserv Forum. Over the pumpkin with her face carved into it, she wrote, “@fiservfourm knows how to make a girl feel welcome (pumpkin emoji).”
Underwood has always been a horror movie fan and several years ago told me in an interview that The Walking Dead was one of her favorite TV shows.
Carrie posted about her shows this weekend on Instagram. She wrote, along with clips from her performance in Chicago, “Chicago was EPIC! You guys sang every word! Seriously…incredible!!! (fire and heart emojis) @jeffjohnsonimages #DenimAndRhinestonesTour #Fringe #fire #ILoveMyJob.”
One fan commented, “AMAZING show!!!! Your energy was EPIC!! Your voice doesn’t tire! Your love for Jesus is so wonderful to see! Thank you for spreading the word!!” Another fan wrote, “It was AMAZING!!! Thank you for the best birthday ever!! See you in Miami, queen!!!” One more fan said, “You were AMAZING! Your version of Welcome to the Jungle was EPIC!!! “
She plays shows this week in Minneapolis, Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
