I was actually at my parents yesterday morning and saw this live. I heard Eagles and said, wait what! Yeah, it turns out Denzel's son, John David, is not only a super talented actor, but also a massive Eagles fan! It's all because of Randall Cunningham! Said when he was 12 he got to meet Randall when Denzel was in Philly shooting "Philadelphia." He said he never saw a QB who looks like him, and Randall was so wonderful, he became a fan.
He said, he's so superstitious that he can't watch the games because he feels the team does better when he doesn't watch it. Ha! He also played football in college and for the Rams for a few seasons before he transitioned into acting. He's currently starring in "The Piano Lesson" now on Broadway!
