Jimmie Allen Bows Out Of Tonight’s CMA Performance
Jimmie Allen has backed out of his CMA Performance tonight because he is feeling “under the weather.” Allen was initially scheduled to perform with Marcus King and The Zac Brown Band.
He posted to Twitter today (11/9), “I was looking forward to performing with my friends @zacbrownband and @realmarcusking at the @CountryMusic Awards; unfortunately, I’m under the weather and won’t be able to. I look forward to watching them and the other performers tonight.”
Allen did not share any additional details about his condition, and the Country Music Association has not yet commented on the news. His post was met with many comments.
Kix Brooks responded, “Feel better soon, Jimmie!” Several fans also responded, including one who wrote, “Oh no! Prayers for a speedy recovery.”
