Wondering how you feel about this? One of the best parts of the shore is that everything is quaint and traditional and there isn't big hotels and resorts. On the flip side, having a brand new hotel that doesn't look like it was from 1978 would be awesome.
The hotel, to be known as “The Wild Resort,” with a rooftop pool and bar, would be the first new Boardwalk frontage hotel development on the Boardwalk in 25 years, since Montego Bay in North Wildwood, he said.
“It brings visitors right into the heart of the Boardwalk,” Rosenello said.
“We’ve lost so many transient rentals over the years,” Rosenello said. “These developers are seeing an opportunity to get back in the business. People are looking for that.”
