Tim McGraw posted a video on his socials today (2/10) where he tries out the Patrick Mahomes football toss. McGraw shared a clip where he does a football toss front and behind the back, trying to strike a balloon taped to the wall. Mahomes gets it right both times he tries. Tim says in the video clip he posted to Instagram, "I saw this Patrick Mahomes video. I'm decidedly no Patrick Mahomes, but I'm gonna try this, Patrick, so don't dog me too bad when you see it, alright? Or you might want me to come back up for you. You never know." McGraw nails hitting the balloon in the front toss, misses the first back toss, and then strikes the balloon on the back toss with the second try. After he hits the second try, he high-fives his off-camera buddy and says, "Take that!"
He captioned the post, "Saw @patrickmahomes do this football toss and found out I've still got a little bit of arm in me after all. Good luck to both teams…. excited for a good game!! #SuperBowl."
Fans were thrilled with the clip as many commented, including one who wrote, "Awesome job Tim! The Chiefs may need you as a backup, but I'm rooting for the Eagles!!" One fan said, "When does the free agency window open up? Sign that guy!" One more fan commented, "Tim!! Go Chiefs!!"
During the 2022 World Series, Tim attended Game 3 of the World Series and wore his father's (Tug McGraw) jersey (No. 45) to the game. That's the jersey that Tug wore for the Phillies from 1975-84. Tim was spotted wearing the famous jersey on the big screen at Citizens Bank Park. It was a good night for Philadelphia: the Phillies won 7-0.
At the time, McGraw shared a video clip of his father striking out Willie Wilson of the Kansas City Royals; it was the game-winning pitch in the final game of the 1980 World Series. He wrote, "Let's go Phillies!"
The Tug McGraw account on Instagram reacted to the post by writing, "GOAT." Fans also responded to the post, including one person who wrote, "You're very fortunate to have videos and all the pictures of your father. I'm sure you will cherish those memories forever." One more fan commented, "Awesome video....tugger in action #45."

Of course, The Houston Astros won the 2022 World Series.
Country music stars have always been quite friendly even though they compete each week for spots on the country charts and ticket sales to their concerts.
Over the years, several bromances have developed between some of country music's most prominent male superstars. We look at the Top 5 Country Music bromances from the last decade, and the guys have outdone themselves on the friendship scale.
5 - Darius Rucker and Lady A's Charles Kelley
Darius makes friends with many people in the entertainment industry. He once told us while we were discussing his friendship with the Duck Dynasty reality show guys that when he likes someone and their work, he reaches out to start a friendship whenever he can. Darius and Charles have been buddies since Rucker started touring with Lady A toward the beginning of his country music career back in 2011 on Lady A's "Own The Night" tour.
4 - Dierks Bentley and Thomas Rhett
These guys have been buddies for a while now and live close to each other in the Nashville area. Once while Thomas was waiting in a grocery store line and realized he didn't have any money, Dierks happened to be behind him in line and loaned him the cash for his purchase. Rhett also had some fun playing part of Bentley's parody band Hot Country Knights.
3 - Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw
Kenny and Tim's friendship goes way back to when the guys first came to Nashville in the early 1990s. The guys have retained their 30-year friendship over the years and even did a duet together called "Like A Rock Star" in 2012.
2 - Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton
These two superstars recently made another Top 5 list for getting mistaken for each other at times when out in public. Blake and Luke trade fun jabs and even hosted the ACM Awards in 2013. Despite people occasionally saying they don't like each other, they are good friends.
1 - Kane Brown and Chris Young
Kane and Chris have been friends since Brown was first signed to Young's RCA label in 2105. While they supported each other from that fateful day, it wasn't until Young's "Famous Friends" duet with Kane in 2021 became such a big hit and award nominee that their friendship became well-known.
