Luke Combs’ Wife: How She Got Baby Tex To Sleep All Night
Luke Combs’ wife Nicole recently took fan questions on her Insta stories and talked about raising chickens and how baby Tex’s sleep habits have changed since the CMA Awards in November.
One fan asked how good of a sleeper Tex was, and Nicole replied, “An absolute rock. I did sleep train him through the night at five months after the CMAs.” She added, “The four-month regression never stopped regressing; I was DONE. We did sleep and nap training courses. He was sleeping through the night in three days and has ever since.”
She and Luke have chickens on their property outside of Nashville. When asked if she recommends raising chickens, she said, “Do it! They’re more high maintenance than most people think, and everything eats them. These are the only cons I have. They are very rewarding, and I love them. It’s definitely a learning process, so give yourself some grace and do your research.”
Another fan asked her about her bucket list items, and Nicole said, “There are a lot. The top two that come to mind that I recently talked about are taking a train ride and catching a tarpon on fly.” Fun Fact: Tarpon is a large fish that grows to about 4–8 ft long and weighs between 60–280 pounds.

Luke shared an update on baby Tex a few weeks ago. He told us, “Tex is doing great; he’s eight months old, so he’s just really getting his personality kinda shining through, and he’s having a good time and smiling and laughing and getting ready to crawl. We don’t have any help at home (with the baby), so it’s just me and her (his wife Nicole) raising the little man. So shout out to her for really bearing the brunt of that. It’s just been amazing, you know, being parents; it’s just so great.”
