Pennsylvania Ice Cream Lovers: Get a Free Ben & Jerry’s Scoop
For the first year since the pandemic, Vermont’s Ben & Jerry’s is bringing back its Free Cone Day on Monday (April 3) to thank their ice cream fans. One Pennsylvania location is taking part in the fun, according to Ben & Jerry’s official website, and we’ll give you the location below.
Ben & Jerry’s launched its first Free Cone Day in 1979, after its first year in business. Starting in 1993, Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops across America all celebrated the day on the same date. According to a release from the ice cream company, most Scoop Shots will be participating from noon to 8 p.m. You can double check if the shop near you is participating via this link.
Ben & Jerry’s hopes to serve more than one million scoops to ice cream lovers around the world on this date. The free cones are available at participating Scoop Shops nationwide. It appears there’s no limit to how many times you can get in line to get more ice cream, too, but check with your local shop. Besides, you don’t want to eat too much and get sick, so lick responsibly.
In Pennsylvania, according to the company’s official website, the one participating shop in Philly is U – Penn (West Philly) at 218 S. 40th Street. They also have some shops participating in New Jersey, New York and beyond. Check your local spot here.
