Kenny Chesney played in Orange Beach over the weekend, wrapping up his "I Go Back" tour, which featured Kelsea Ballerini as an opener. During the tour stop, Kenny and Kelsea shared a boat ride, and Chesney posted an image of the fun on his Instagram.

Kenny captioned it, "Tour mates turned family. Thanks to everyone that gave so much to the #IGOBACKTOUR. Kenny loves Tekelsea."

Many fans reacted to the post, including one who wrote, "You are so talented. I love you!! Living your best life!! Love it!!" Another fan commented, "Livin' the dream." One more fan said, "@kennychesney, I want to be a tour mate."

It was recently announced that Chesney would be stepping in for Morgan Wallen, who is on vocal rest for the next six weeks, as a headliner at Gulf Coast Jam and Carolina Country Music Fest, which plays June 8-11 in Myrtle Beach. The Gulf Coast Jam happens in Panama City, Florida, on June 1-4.

Kenny said, "It's like an extra little bit of something. We love playing on those great big stages, and I think everyone knows that. But this year, in these venues, has been unlike anything we've done in years – so much fun, so great, so spur of the moment – and I wouldn't change a thing."

Chesney added in the statement, "I can't lie, though. I was missing those big stages just a bit. And now, me and the road family get to have our cake and eat it, too. When we got the call, even though we were basically done, I thought it over, and of course, we wanted to be there for the fans. They're the reason we do this – and the opportunity to step in and let even more people see how white hot and awesome these players are is awesome. Funny how life has a way of stepping in!"
