Chris Stapleton’s New Boot Collection With Lucchese
Chris Stapleton now has his own line of specially-made cowboy boots. This week, he announced a partnership with Lucchese.
Stapleton said in a statement, “I’m of the mind that everything can be refined to an art, and that’s what I love about Lucchese boots. They’ve taken bootmaking and refined it to an art.” He added, “Lucchese boots are what cowboy boots are supposed to be. I can’t wait for people to try them on and find out what I already know: when you put a pair of these on, you don’t need anything else.”
The Chris Stapleton Collection features three unique boot styles. They are all handmade in Texas – The Original, San Antonio, and Old Friend.
The Original
Per the press release announcing the boots, “A direct pull from the archives and is a replica of the first pair of boots Chris Stapleton ever designed during his first visit to the Lucchese factory in 2018. These all-American Buffalo boots boast a hand-corded moccasin toe that is a testament to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Stapleton and Lucchese celebrate.”
The San Antonio
Luccese describes the San Antonio like this: “This boot echoes Lucchese’s vintage designs, featuring a colorway in the brand’s coveted Black Cherry finish. The boots are made with a brush-off Santini goat with a high-shine finish. They have historic Seville hand-cording detail inspired by the San Antonio factory.”
The Old Friend
“A boot that bridges the gap between grit and traditionalism thanks to its Western silhouette and supple suede leather. It acts as the ‘songwriters’ uniform’ and pays homage to Stapleton’s heroes who, in fact, feel like old friends.”

They range in price from $700 to $1200 a pair. A portion of the sale of the boots will go to Chris’s charity Outlaw State Of Kind. Stapleton and his wife Morgane’s charitable fund supports a variety of causes that are close to their heart. The Outlaw State of Kind Fund was founded in 2016 and is administered by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
