What an amazing opportunity for our Philadelphia Phillies in the 2024 season, going to be so epic. This weekend, the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals will square off in the London Series for two games, June 24th and June 25th.

Next year, it will be our Phillies taking on the Mets in this incredible series.

Phillies London Series Set For June 8th and 9th

This is a pretty incredible opportunity. You can't at all doubt that this is going to be great for the Phillies global reach. Let's get some fans overseas!

Was the pitcher asking for it or was Harper out of line on this one? Bryce Harper was ejected from the Phillies game against the Rockies on Sunday, May 14th.

We just had to talk about this on The Andie Summers Show on 92.5 XTU.

Bryce Harper Ejected In Phillies Loss

It was a really tough night for the Phillies, unable to get any runs across the plate despite having seven hits. The pitcher who really (in our opinion) started the whole thing was Rockies Jake Bird.  Check the video below, you be the judge if he started it.

Harper was interviewed after the game, here's what he had to say according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Harper Wasn't The Only Ejection...

Manage of the PhilliesRob Thomson, was also ejected. This was reported by NBC Sports. Here's what he had to say about Harper's reaction to pitcher Jake Bird.

"He’s protecting his teammates. That’s what this group does. And I’m proud of them for it. He’s an emotional guy and he was sticking up for his teammates. Boys will be boys. Things happen.”

Let's Set The Stage!

The third out had just been recorded in the top of the seventh inning and the Phillies were down big, 4-0. This was the third of three games for the series in Colorado.

At this point, the Phillies had take games one and two but have yet to get a run in game three. Tensions were HIGH and the pitcher added to it.

Harper's Injury

Well, don't forget that Bryce Harper just returned to the line a couple weeks ago after Tommy John surgery repaired his elbow. One of the fastest comebacks we've seen from that injury in a long time.

And Harper took not even a second to defend his team!
