Kane Brown Is Seeking A Restraining Order For His Upcoming Philadelphia Concert
Well this weekend is about to get interesting. Kane Brown is seeking a restraining order for upcoming Philadelphia concert. Kane is bringing his Drunk or Dreaming tour to The Mann this Saturday and is not playing with people trying to make a quick buck.
Kane is going after bootleggers in federal court before his concert at the Mann Center this Saturday. According to documents filed in Philadelphia’s federal court, Kane has sold more than $20 million in merchandise bearing his name, and he’s become a target for bootleggers. The unnamed bootleggers “are conspiring to travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on and before July 8, 2023, when Kane Brown will perform at the TD Pavilion at the Mann,” reads the motion for a restraining order against any entities attempting to sell merchandise with his name or likeness on it. “Defendants will attempt to sell imitation and inferior bootleg merchandise.” If the judge approves the motion, any unlicensed Kane Brown merchandise could be seized on sight.
Kane’s Philly show is even more special than normal since it’s his wife’s Katelyn’s hometown show. Katelyn is from West Chester, and is currently performing on tour with Kane when they sing their #1 song “Thank God.” Katelyn moved to Nashville as an aspiring musician. She met Kane through mutual friends and the rest is history. When I interviewed Kane a few times he said his inlaws always text him when I talk about him on air. He also revealed he sneaks back to the area alot and always works out at Planet Fitness and shops for sneakers at the King of Prussia mall.
Here’s what Kane had to say about finally performing with his wife. “My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together. There [were] actually four [other songs] that we had,” Kane told PEOPLE of the collab.

He added, “I keep telling everybody she’s my secret weapon, but this song is just, like, us. I feel like it’s any relationship song or anybody that’s married or going to get married just knows. It’s like, ‘God put you in my life for a reason.’ ”
After Kane’s show at The Mann, we can get ready for Luke Combs to take over The Linc on July 28th and 29th. Luke hasn’t been to Philly since 2019 so the fact we get Kane and Luke within a few weeks, yay!
I was fortunate to see Kane at the Wells Fargo Center and in Atlantic City over the last two years and he’s always so good. If you haven’t seen him perform live yet, add it to your list asap.
