Well this weekend is about to get interesting. Kane Brown is seeking a restraining order for upcoming Philadelphia concert. Kane is bringing his Drunk or Dreaming tour to The Mann this Saturday and is not playing with people trying to make a quick buck.
Kane is going after bootleggers in federal court before his concert at the Mann Center this Saturday. According to documents filed in Philadelphia’s federal court, Kane has sold more than $20 million in merchandise bearing his name, and he’s become a target for bootleggers. The unnamed bootleggers “are conspiring to travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on and before July 8, 2023, when Kane Brown will perform at the TD Pavilion at the Mann,” reads the motion for a restraining order against any entities attempting to sell merchandise with his name or likeness on it. “Defendants will attempt to sell imitation and inferior bootleg merchandise." If the judge approves the motion, any unlicensed Kane Brown merchandise could be seized on sight.
Kane’s Philly show is even more special than normal since it’s his wife’s Katelyn’s hometown show. Katelyn is from West Chester, and is currently performing on tour with Kane when they sing their #1 song “Thank God.” Katelyn moved to Nashville as an aspiring musician. She met Kane through mutual friends and the rest is history. When I interviewed Kane a few times he said his inlaws always text him when I talk about him on air. He also revealed he sneaks back to the area alot and always works out at Planet Fitness and shops for sneakers at the King of Prussia mall.
Here’s what Kane had to say about finally performing with his wife. “My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together. There [were] actually four [other songs] that we had,” Kane told PEOPLE of the collab.

Here's what Kane had to say about finally performing with his singer wife. "My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together … There [were] actually four [other songs] that we had," Kane told PEOPLE of the collaboration. "I was like, 'Babe, you're going to be on this one, or this one or this one.' And then 'Thank God' came in and I was like, 'This is the one.' And she said the same thing, but I'm so glad I waited for this particular one to come out."
He added, "I keep telling everybody she's my secret weapon, but this song is just, like, us. I feel like it's any relationship song or anybody that's married or going to get married just knows. It's like, 'God put you in my life for a reason.' "
After Kane's show at The Mann, we can get ready for Luke Combs to take over The Linc on July 28th and 29th. Luke hasn't been to Philly since 2019 so the fact we get Kane and Luke within a few weeks, yay!
I was fortunate to see Kane at the Wells Fargo Center and in Atlantic City over the last two years and he's always so good. If you haven't seen him perform live yet, add it to your list asap.

Lose It is Kane's first single from his second album Experiment. It came out in 2018 and Kane said, "I fell in love with this song, it was really exciting, it was really uptempo. It’s one of my favorite songs, so I hope you enjoy it."

Like I Love Country Music
Like I Love Country music was released May 2022 from his album "Different Man." He released this song as a single instead of a ballad because he thought it was too slow.
Famous Friends
Kane sings "Famous Friends" with Chris Young. One of the coolest moments was when Kane showed up to surprised Chris during his set at Country Spirit USA Festival in Chester Springs two years ago. It was such a good festival, hopefully one day it comes back.

Homesick
Kane dedicated this song to military families. He said, "I thought, 'There's not many songs going out these days about the military like there used to be.' I felt like this would really hit home for them. Just kind of like memories of, you know, anybody dancing in a kitchen, singing favorite songs with each other."

Go Around/Needed Me
Simple Man / Redneck Woman / Friends in Low Places
Short Skirt Weather
This is my FAVORITE Kane song. It's so fun and upbeat and whenever I'm on the treadmill and I need a boost I put this one and this, let's go! It's such a jam. When Kane came to be my guest co-host I got to play it on the air and it was so fun.

What Ifs
The song is about a couple where the question "what if" is asked repeatedly about what would happen in their relationship. It features a duet with Lauren Alaina, who he knew from Georgia. Kane was asked so much about "What Ifs" on social media that it was then decided that the song should be included in the album

Thank God
Kane performs this with his wife Katelyn. She's also from West Chester, so we think there's a pretty good chance she will perform at The Mann since it's her hometown show!

One Mississippi
In an interview with The Nashville Soundbite, Kane said the song covered a relationship about "where you makeup and you break up, and you just keep running into each other, and then something about that spark in the relationship gets y’all back together and may fall apart again."
