Zach Bryan released his self-titled new album on August 25, 2023, and according to his social media, he has “no grand explanation” for the 17 songs on the project. “I don’t have a bulls— rollout plan to stuff it in front of as many people as I can.”
The album which is self-produced featured many other artists, including The War And Treaty and The Lumineers.
Now, Bryan has announced his 2024 North American run of The Quittin Time Tour. Playing in mostly stadiums, the tour will start in Chicago in March and make its way around North America stopping in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Zach Bryan: 7 Reasons Why Philadelphia Loves Him
It's safe to say that Zach Bryan has not only taken country music by storm but the whole music industry. There are definitely more but let's start with 7 reasons why we love Zach Bryan.
Zach was born on April 2, 1996, which means he's an Aries. Makes sense he has a fiery personality and tons of energy, those are two traits of an Aries. He was actually born in Okinawa, Japan, while his family was stationed overseas with the Navy, but grew up in Oologah, Oklahoma.
Zach was an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy, enlisting at the age of 17 and actually starting writing music while in the Navy. He eventually moved to Philly with his then girlfriend who is also from there.
He started uploading his music to YouTube in 2017, with his friends recording him performing using his iPhone. One of his songs, "Heading South", eventually went viral and the rest is basically history.
What makes him different is that he has blown up not in the traditional way many other musicians have. He hasn't had a #1 song, but he has had a massive sold-out tour and sold millions of albums. His song "Something in Orange" was his first country radio single.
Zach released his brand new self-titled album in August 2023 and it's entirely self-produced. He tweeted: I wanted this entire record to be self-produced. Releasing Deep Satin (a song my friend Eddie produced) and a few more songs as the months are to come. I won’t keep anyone waiting I promise, I love you guys and I am so grateful I get to grow through this life with y’all
He has a few features on the new album, one being with Kacey Musgraves, along with War & Treaty, The Lumineers, and Sierra Ferrell. He also opens the album with a poem he wrote. It's pretty incredible how he writes and produces his own music. There aren't many young superstar artists who do that anymore. It's a lost art really.
Here are 7 reasons why Philadelphia loves Zach Bryan:
He Writes & Produces His Own Music
Zach writes the majority of his own songs himself. He also produces a large amount of them himself as well. His hit song Something in the Orange was written solely by Zach and produced by Ryan Hadlock.

He's An Award Winner
Zach won the award for New Male Artist of the Year at the ACMs. He was very grateful to win especially being up against some massive talent. Jackson Dean, Ernest, Dylan Scott, Nate Smith and Bailey Zimmerman were all in the category. Congrats Zach!
He’s A Dog Lover
Zach's dog is named Jack and he's a star.
I want to say happy birthday to the best hunting, city, road dog there is
You’ve made it two years and I love you more than I have ever loved another thing
From the road to manhattan to philly to Oklahoma you’ll always be my best friend
Always just been you n me man
He Was in the Military
Zach was in the Navy and was honorably discharged when his music career took off. He explained how much it meant to him on Instagram back in 2011. "Can’t tell if I’m a coward or if I’m chasing a dream but regardless, the best eight years of my life were spent serving the best country in the whole damn world. Thank you guys and I’ll see you on tour.'
He Lives In Philly
Zach lives in Philly. He's obviously on tour right now, but for the majority of the year last year he was dating his longtime girlfriend Deb, who's also from here. He was always out and about in the city and spotted at numerous Eagles games. Unfortunately, Zach and Deb broke up back in May. We are hoping he doesn't break up with Philly too.

He Loves The Eagles
There are too many times to talk about how much Zach loves the Eagles. He went to numerous games, wears Eagles gear all the time, even said GO BIRDS when he had Giants QB Daniel Jones on stage with him. He posted about the new Eagles Kelly Green jersey the Eagles sent him.
The Loves The Sixers
When Zach performed his two sold-out shows at the Wells Fargo Center back at the end of May in Philly, he wore a Sixers jersey the one night and a Jalen Hurts Eagles Jersey the other night. We love how much he loves Philadephia.
