Wait until you see how this teacher uses Morgan Wallen to teach times tables to her kids. We all have a subject in school that made us roll our eyes. Maybe it was because of the subject. Maybe it was because of the teacher. What you are about to read will make you wish you were in school today, rather than many moons ago.
Schoolhouse Rock
Do you remember Schoolhouse Rock? It was a series of animated, musical, educational shorts that aired during Saturday morning cartoons on ABC. They were the kind of cartoons that made enjoy learning, because we didn't know we were learning. The shorts covered themes like grammar, science, math, history, and civics. You know, all the things kids groan about in the classroom.
Classrooms have changed! Back in my day (said with an old-lady accent) our classrooms were either too hot or too cold. They had awful fluorescent lighting overhead. And it hummed. When we saw the projector in the classroom it was great news because we were not going to learn the traditional way. That was the sign we would be watching a filmstrip.
I tried to explain "filmstrip" to my teenaged kids the other day. They truly cannot wrap their brains around the idea that the pictures did not move. How boring, they told me. Very true.

13 Songs That Made Morgan Wallen ACM A Star
As Morgan Wallen celebrates his 30th birthday today (5/13), he just shared with his fans that he has re-scheduled 10 out of the 16 tour dates that he postponed early this week. Morgan posted the news on his Instagram to the delight of his bid fan base.
While he wasn't in attendance at the ACM Awards earlier this week (5/11), Wallen did win the Male Artist of the Year honor given out by ACM co-host Garth Brooks.
Earlier this year, in March, Morgan revealed he is single. He said in a recent interview, "I had a girlfriend for a while. Not recently. That was the last one I had. I don't have anybody right now. It's kind of hard. Just how busy I've been. I got a son; an album, a tour; I've got all these things I do."
He added, "It's really hard for me to make time for that. I want to, though. I think I'm coming up on my 'settle down phase.' We'll see. I'm not in a hurry."
