“I guess my personal life is not so personal.”
Welcome to the wonderful world of fame, Travis Kelce. Not that the Kansas City Chiefs Tight End is foreign to the spotlight. Back in 2016, Travis was the star of a reality dating show, “Catching Kelce.” He and his brother, Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce, have each achieved celebrity status with their big personalities and big football games. They made headlines earlier this year when the Chiefs met the Eagles in the Super Bowl. It was the first time brothers faced each other in the Super Bowl and the media could not get enough of the Kelce boys or their mom Donna.
Since the last football season, the Kelce brothers’ podcast New Heights has become a top sports podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and more. The brothers have addressed Travis’s affection for Taylor Swift in previous episodes, but briefly, and basically only saying he’s not going to comment.
My, how things have changed.
We have seen a teaser where Travis starts to open up about what appears to be a budding romance between the football god and the worldwide superstar.
Jason says, “We gotta talk about it.”
Travis jokes that his personal life is anything but personal.
Jason wants to know how Travis feels now that Taylor Swift put him “on the map.”
Travis admits how good it made him feel to hear what everyone in the suite had to say about her. And how he loved seeing the slow-motion high-fives and chest bumps with Mama Kelce.
Is the NFL scripted? If you think so, Travis definitely gives you ammunition for your argument.
Can you imagine Andy Reid in a diaper, shooting arrows? The Chiefs head coach claims he is the cupid that made it all happen.
You can watch the entire podcast below. They start talking T-Swift around the 28-minute mark. And if you believe what they say, this will be the last we will hear anything from Travis on the subject.
