Garth Brooks plays his final shows in Las Vegas for 2023 on Friday (12/15) and Saturday (12/16) at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace.
Garth told us how his Vegas shows compare to his stadium dates of the past. He said, "How does this compare to, like, a stadium? This runs circles around a stadium! For one, the sound is amazing. The crowd competes with a stadium."
He added, "You don't have to worry about the weather. And it sounds so good in there – right there with ya!"
Brooks attempted to describe what he's witnessing and what concertgoers are experiencing at his Las Vegas residency. He said, "When you play a stadium, arena, dive bar – whatever – you can't hear yourself think because everybody's singing so loud! But here's the great thing about The Colosseum in Vegas. It's loud as a stadium in there – everyone's singing. But you can hear everything in that room!"
Garth concluded, "Like 'The River'? It'll tear you up! And 'The Dance' is now a singalong. It's louder than it is in a stadium – you're like, 'Holy cow!' And the whole night is that way! So much fun!"

Brooks recently told us that after a busy 2023, his 2024 is also packed. He said, "Yeah! This was the busiest year so far. I seriously think things are going to slow down a lot in '24. Oh – let me rephrase that!! I think things are going to slow down a lot in '25 'cause '24's going to be busier than '23!"
His camp announced recently that he is adding 18 more dates to his Las Vegas residency in 2024.
Garth said, "What I love about the Vegas dates is the crowd you're playing for and the family that you're playing for. They've been very sweet to us out there. And if you look on the stage anywhere in Vegas, you'll never see a set list."
The country icon added with a smile, "The band almost quit because of that, right? The first night. And then they started to go, 'Okay, I get this! It's fun!'"
Brooks posted to Instagram about the new Vegas shows, writing, "CAESARS ENTERTAINMENT AND LIVE NATION ASK GARTH BROOKS TO ADD 18 NEW DATES IN 2024. Presales begin Tuesday, Nov. 21. Tickets go on sale Cyber Monday, Nov. 27, at Ticketmaster.com/GarthVegas

Garth Brooks loves Christmas so much that he has released four Christmas albums in his career, starting with Beyond The Season. It was a huge hit selling over 3 million copies by 1995. The album was released on August 25, 1992.
Brooks then released Garth Brooks & the Magic of Christmas on November 23, 1999, then re-released the project with some new songs added to it and called it Garth Brooks & the Magic of Christmas: Call Me Claus on September 25, 2001.
Garth’s latest holiday effort was with his wife Trisha Yearwood, which was called Christmas Together and was released on November 11, 2016.

CapitolThis is another original song co-written by Garth, and it is quite rocking. Two minutes and eight seconds of pure Santa joy.
7. "'Zat You, Santa Claus?" (Jack Fox) (2001)
CapitolThe song was first recorded by jazz legend Louis Armstrong in 1953. At first, Garth’s version sounds a bit weird, but try listening to it a few times, you won’t get it out of your mind. Brooks’ gritty performance of the song is right on target.
6. "Go Tell It on the Mountain" (1992)
CapitolA holiday classic that is over 100 years old. Brooks’ version, along with Nashville’s Christ Church Choir, is one of the best versions of this song.
5. "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (with Trisha Yearwood) (2016)
PearlIn Garth and Trisha’s version, you can hear their closeness. It’s not really a surprise, but it’s worth noting that they just sound so good together.

PearlAn upbeat, fun Christmas song that Garth and Trisha just nail. Yeah, it’s time for hot chocolate!
3. "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" (1999)
CapitolBrooks’ vocals are so pure on this song. It’s the perfect song to bring in the holiday season.
2. "Santa Looked a Lot Like Daddy" (1992)
CapitolThis is a classic Buck Owens song released in the mid-1960s, and several country stars like Brad Paisley have covered it. Brooks’ version is wonderful, and he actually sounds just like Buck does in the original version.
1. "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (1992)
CapitolWow, Garth just slams this song. It’s the second song on his first Christmas album, Beyond The Season. He sings with such conviction, so smoothly and with such emotion, and that’s part of the reason it tops the list.
