Lainey Wilson Left ‘Speechless’ After GRAMMY Win
Lainey Wilson had another life-changing night (2/4) when she won the Best Country Album GRAMMY for Bell Bottom Country at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles. Lainey got the award from presenter and GRAMMY winner Kacey Musgraves.
Wilson posted photos of herself shortly after the show with her new GRAMMY. One is kissing it, and a picture of herself and Musgraves holding the winner’s envelope. She also posted a video clip of her acceptance speech, where she talked about being a fifth-generation farmer’s daughter.
Lainey captioned the post, “Best Country Album. As someone whose whole career is based off of putting my feelings into words, it’s few and far between that I’m left speechless. All I can say right now is thank you, thank you, thank you @recordingacademy. Now, to go process this. #GRAMMYs.”
Many fans reacted to her post, including one who wrote, “Congratulations Lainey! We are so proud of you!” Another fan said, “Making Louisiana proud.” One more fan commented, “True country talent.”

Before the show got underway, Wilson did a handful of red-carpet interviews. She posted one clip of an interview she did with CBS This Morning. She said, “This is my first GRAMMY week, and it has been wild.” She noted that the “rooms that I’ve been able to be in” were full of people from all different walks of life. Lainey added, “I was in a room last night (2/4) with Cher.”
Wilson also stopped to talk to the official GRAMMY.com. She said, “I’m having a moment. I’m just so excited to be here. I’m living in it. I’m soaking it up. This is my very first GRAMMY week. We have literally done everything that you can possibly imagine.”
When asked about her black outfit, including a black business-type suit with bell bottoms and a black hat, she said she wanted to “walk in here and feel power.” She added that she wanted to “feel fierce” and be ready for business.
