Be a Weather Kid

Get ready to blow your kids’ minds and make them the coolest, most famous kid at school! All you have to do is sign them up to be the Andie Summers Show Weather Kid. It’s really easy. Make sure your kiddo is up early enough to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed around 7 am on Friday. The members of The Andie Summers Show will chat with you to confirm all of your information, and then we’ll talk to your child. We might ask about school, interests, and love life :). You know, the usual cute kid stuff. Then we’ll tell your child what to say to report the weather. It’s all recorded and will be edited to make everyone sound their best. We’ll play your child back at 7:10, 8:10, and 9:10. So, if you’re chosen, make sure to tell your friends and family to listen!!!
Register here and your child could be the official Andie Summers Show Weather Kid. Weather Kids are heard on  The Andie Summers Show every Friday at 7:10am, 8:10am, and 9:10am. We will also post audio the podcast of our conversation right here, so you can share it with your friends and family.
Not only will your little one be a radio star, they will also receive a really cool Mini Melts Ice Cream prize pack that your kid will love! Thanks to our friends at Mini Melts Ice Cream: For the coolest treat, head to Wawa and grab a single serve cup from the signature mini melts stand-alone freezer. And make it a Mini Melts Moment.

10 Best Country Tailgate Songs

Country Tailgate Songs and Must Haves

There is not a doubt in my mind that music is essential to a good tailgate but it isn't the only thing to make it fun and successful. I always say, you need a game to play. Whether it is a table for Beer Pong or Flip Cup, maybe some Cornhole Boards or how about KanJam? All so much fun!

In fact, if you are an Eagles fan, you should check out our list of the best items that Birds fans need for their newest tailgate, see the list here.

The List Of Best Country Tailgate Songs

How did I come to forming this list? Well it wasn't easy because there are so many great songs to choose from. But a top ten, I was able to narrow it down to some of the best if not THE best of all time.

Kenny Chesney makes the list but only once, in fact, no repeating artists on this list. Was that on purpose? Not exactly. One artist that we unfortunately just lost made the list with his best tailgating song. And we added a couple collaborations that make country music even better.

Once again, here are my credentials. I have been a country music morning show host since 2018. I love this music so much, it's all I listen to. I am usually the one asking for the aux cable on the long car ride in order to show people the newest country artist I am loving. Not a lot of NEW music here, in fact, most of these are just massive classics!

10) "Parking Lot Party" by Lee Brice

What a freakin' jam!! So perfect for your tailgate to kick it all off. Lee Brice is one of the most underrated country stars out there. He has HIT after HIT you may not even realize. Perfect to cheers to!

9) "Boys of Fall" by Kenny Chesney

A bit slower but totally embodies the football season mentality and always gets us pumped up! Plus he crushes every single show. He's got one of the greatest fan bases called "No Shoes Nation" for a reason because they have THAT much fun! What a good time.

8) "All Of My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight" by Hank Williams Jr.

An oldie but an absolute goodie! Can't forget the instant amazing throwbacks. Hank Williams Jr. is a legend and must make this list in order for it to be legit. This song is a perfect addition to your tailgate playlist.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2GBQqSKl8w

7) "My Kinda Party" by Jason Aldean

Well you know he's going to get the party started right, right?!?!?!? Jason Aldean has such an amazing plethora of music, including great ones like this. He knows how to slow it down or how to get us going with songs like "My Kinda Party." Jason is here for the party and we are too.

6) "These Are My People" by Rodney Atkins

This will be the other tailgates into the mix too! These are ALL my people. Love this song so much because it brings everyone together, right? You have to sing this song out loud no matter how many drinks you have had.

5) "Beer Money" by Kip Moore

Love Kip Moore and this is our favorite song by him, without a doubt! This is a great song because it's a different take on a tailgate song. I know I could use some beer money especially after paying for the super expensive parking and game tickets, right?

4) "Beer Never Broke My Heart" by Luke Combs

Well you know we had to add Luke Combs into this list!!! LONG NECK ICE COLD BEER just has everyone screaming. This song is one of the "newer" ones on the list but it was an instant classic because of the sound. Luke has always made music that the tailgater can love and relate to, even when he slows it down. So sing it loud fans!

3) "My Solo Cup" by Toby Keith

If you thought that this was would be complete without this smash hit, then you are CRAZY! Rest In Peace to this amazing country music legend, taken from us just way too soon. Toby Keith will always be remember for his work for military and veterans. Plus, amazing songs like this one.

2) "Drink In My Hand" by Eric Church

Nothing like cheers-ing with your friends with a DRINK IN YOUR HAND! All you gotta do is put a drink in my hand is right Eric Church. It changes my whole life around no doubt about it. Can you imagine tailgating without this song? I know I couldn't.

1) "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" by Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson

Wrapping up this list is the ultimate drinking song of all time!! Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson created what is now not only number one tailgate song, but also maybe one of the best country songs of ALL TIME. Everybody and their brother knows the hook of this song, whether they like country music or not!

THANK YOU FOR READING!

Good luck with your tailgates, please be safe and be sure to incorporate these hits into your game day playlist!
