2034 Winter Olympics Are In...

Salt Lake city, 32 years after hosting the Winter Olympics back in 2002, will have the games return to town in 2034. Such an exciting time!

We originally saw this news break thanks to our friends at NBC Philadelphia. According to their story, "The capital city of Utah was the only candidate since the International Olympic Committee gave Salt Lake City exclusive negotiating rights last year in the process that was fast-tracked for 2034 and led to U.S. being awarded the games."

The United States Takes Center Stage

So now you know that Salt Lake City will take the Winter Games in 2034. But before that, Los Angeles will host the next Summer Olympic Games in 2028 (after the Paris games of 2024 obviously).

The French Alps will be the host of the winter games in 2030 and the 2026 Winter Olympics will take place in Milan.
