The biggest hockey video game is honoring two fallen players when fans boot up the game. When you open up NHL 24, the hottest hockey video game in the market, this message is what everyone sees.

Johnny Gaudreau played eleven seasons in the NHL after playing for the Boston College Eagles. He spent most of career with the Calgary Flames followed up with time in Columbus with the Blue Jackets.

Johnny and his brother, Matthew, were biking last week when they were struck by and alleged drunk driver. Both were killed on what happened to be the night before their sister's wedding. Fans and friends have sent out pouring amounts of support.

Johnny Gaudreau is a father of two, his brother's wife was expecting their first child in December. Here is a message from Johnny's sister-in-law, his wife's sister.

According to New Jersey State Police, driver Sean M. Higgins has since been arrested and charged with two counts of death by auto after police say he was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol when fatally hitting the Gaudreau siblings after attempting to pass another vehicle.
