Lainey Wilson’s Bucket List Has No Limits
Lainey Wilson is at the top of her game as the Entertainer of the Year for both the ACM‘s and the CMA’s and we have a feeling she’s gonna win it again. It’s just been her time in country music.
In June, she was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. At the time she said that was one of the biggest honors of her life. She does have a bucket list, and while she’s checked many things off already. There are still a couple of things that Lainey wants to do.
Wilson told us of her bucket list, “We really have been checking them off left and right. I’ve been in Nashville for thirteen years and I started working on this way before then. When I was nine years old, I wrote my first songs, and when I came to the Grand Ole Opry for the first time. I remember exactly where I was sitting, and I remember who played, it was Jeannie Seeley, Bill Anderson, and Crystal Gayle, and I remember looking at that circle and thinking, ‘I’m gonna do that, I’m gonna stand up there.'”
She continued, “So I will tell you out of all accolades that has happened this year and the year before that, this is the biggest honor of my life being to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. It’s just a community of people I’ve dreamed of being a part of. I mean, these are the people who paved the way to do what we’re doing right now.”
Lainey added with a smile, “As for the bucket list, I’d like to do a little more acting, I guess. I’d love to do some voiceover work. I want to do it all. Why not?”

Wilson enjoyed another career highlight recently when she played the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo in Wyoming and brought her parents, Brian and Michelle, along for the ride.
Lainey shared the memory on her Instagram with a bunch of photos of her and her parents, along with an official rodeo belt buckle she was given and a throwback photo of herself when she was younger with her horse at the famous rodeo.
Wilson captioned the post, “@chefrontierdays (blue heart emoji) We found a pot of country gold at the end of the rainbow. My cowgirl heart could explode. What a full circle moment for me and my rodeo family…swipe to see a throwback.”
