The Cape May County Park and Zoo has welcomed two young bobcats from Arizona. 

Born in June 2024, the two brother and sister bobcats, both of whom are unnamed, arrived in March and have been placed in the zoo's small mammals section. Zoo visitors can observe the bobcats daily during regular zoo hours, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Zoo visitors are also encouraged to take part in additional events at the zoo this month.

  • The zoo's Easter EggstravaganZOO begins Friday, April 18, and runs through Friday, April 25. Activities will include an Easter Bunny I Spy Hunt, an Easter scavenger hunt, HOPstacle course and Easter Bunny photo opportunity. The Easter Bunny will be ready for photos from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 only.
  • The Cape May County Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants can enjoy live eco-educational entertainment, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, food trucks, bounce houses, and giveaways. The first 100 attendees to bring gently used blankets or sheets to donate to local animal shelters will receive a free T-shirt.

Cape May County Park and Zoo is located at 720 Route 9 North in Cape May Court House, exit 11, on the Garden State Parkway. Admission is free. Learn more by visiting the zoo's website.
