Discover Easter Events Worth Attending This Weekend in Philadelphia

Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown will host an Easter brunch on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20. Guests can select from three meal seatings each day: 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., or 1 p.m. The brunch includes a full breakfast, photos with the Easter Bunny, and opportunities to visit the zoo's animals.

This perennially popular South Street Easter tradition will feature free, family-friendly activities on Sunday, April 20. The event begins at 12:30 p.m. at Fifth and South streets and includes a "Best Dressed Contest" at 1:15 p.m. at Headhouse Plaza on Second and Lombard streets.

Promenaders will travel down South Street led by Master of Ceremonies Henri David, the Easter Bunny, the Philadelphia Union‘s mascot Phang, and furry friends. Fashion enthusiasts of all ages and genders are invited to celebrate the day by showing off their most extravagant holiday-themed costumes in the "Best Dressed Contest." Prizes and Easter candy will be awarded. 

Join the Rolling Thunder on Sunday, April 20, for the Easter Sunday Skate at Rolling Thunder Skating Center, 7017 Roosevelt Blvd., from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event will feature both the Easter Bunny and Bugs Bunny, plus a limbo dance contest between the two characters.

The Philadelphia Easter Signature Brunch Cruise on the Delaware River will be held on Sunday, April 20, from noon to 2 p.m. The cruise leaves from 401 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd. and includes a full buffet with bottomless mimosas, music from a DJ, dancing, and a visit with the Easter Bunny.

Philmont Country Club, 301 Tomlinson Road in Huntingdon Valley, will host an Easter Sunday brunch on Sunday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The brunch includes a buffet meal, photos with the Easter Bunny, and a Helicopter Egg Drop.
