Zach Top was genuinely touched when he received the ACM New Male Artist of the Year Award. “I’m beyond honored and can’t thank my fans enough for supporting the music, coming out on the road with us, and listening every day,” he shared. “Playing and singing for a living has always been my dream, and getting this award is a great reminder that we’re on the right track. I’m really grateful-this means so much.”

His win follows the success of his debut album Cold Beer & Country Music, which racked up over 3.5 million streams in its first week. Zach’s sold-out headline tour includes stops at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, New York’s Terminal, and Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway. He’s also joining Alan Jackson on select dates of the “Last Call Tour” and will hit the road with Dierks Bentley’s “Broken Branches Tour” next month.

The ACM surprised Zach with his award backstage at his Wilmington, NC show, delivering the news through a heartfelt video from Brooks & Dunn, the most awarded duo in ACM history. Fans and fellow artists alike have flooded social media with congratulations, celebrating Zach’s rise as a standout in the neo-traditional country movement. In addition to his New Male Artist win, Zach is also nominated for ACM Album of the Year, further cementing his status as one of country’s brightest new stars. His achievements will be recognized at the 60th ACM Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire and streaming live worldwide on May 8th.
