The Mann Center for the Performing Arts is gearing up for a dynamic lineup of events this May and June. Guests are invited to experience concerts, festivals, and special performances.
Kicking off the month of May, the BalletX Festival will take place on the weekend of May 2 and 3, with two performances at the TD Pavilion.
A free Young People's Concert Series titled "Cultural Journeys" is scheduled for May 13. It's expected to be an engaging experience for young audiences. On May 17, the HBCU Festival, presented by TD Bank, will celebrate the culture and contributions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Music lovers can look forward to Teddy Swims performing on May 18 and Pierce the Veil in concert on May 19 at the Highmark Skyline Stage.
A highly anticipated Roots Picnic is set for May 31 and June 1 during a weekend filled with musical celebrations.
On June 4, "A Taste of Home" featuring Chef Cristina Martinez will take place at the Downstage @ the Mann and will be accompanied by live music.
The Philadelphia Orchestra will present Beethoven's Fifth on June 17, followed by a "Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert" screening on June 20. Programming culminates with Cynthia Erivo performing with The Philadelphia Orchestra on June 21.
