Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, lauded for its exceptional craft beers and culinary experiences, recently took top honors at the World Beer Cup and GABF. Iron Hill won two awards, bringing its winnings to 88 total awards.
Known as the "Olympics of Beers," the World Beer Cup is one of the most prestigious competitions for brewing excellence in the country. Iron Hill earned a Silver honor for its East Side Gallery in the Berliner-Style Weisse category and a Bronze honor for The Cannibal in the Belgian-Style Strong Blonde Ale category. Both of these beers are brewed at Iron Hill's Exton location.
East Side Gallery is described as a tart Berliner Weisse that first came to market in cans through Iron Hill's exclusive IHBeer Club program in 2024. The Bronze award for The Cannibal was the signature beer of longtime brewer Chris LaPierre, who died unexpectedly last summer.
Brewed in his memory, The Cannibal is one of Iron Hill's most award-winning beers. Its cans bear label artwork that honors LaPierre's legacy. It is available in cans at all Iron Hill locations.
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has several locations in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; Voorhees, New Jersey; and Philadelphia and West Chester, Pennsylvania.
According to a Vista.Today report, the World Beer Cup is the largest international beer competition organized by the Brewers Association. Approximately 8,500 entries in the competition originated from more than 1,700 breweries in 50 countries. Each entry is judged by a panel of 265 experts.
