Applebrook Golf Club (Malvern)
Gil Hanse's design for Applebrook Golf Club in Malvern emphasizes wide fairways and green complexes. According to Golf Digest, "While bunkers are plentiful and varied they do not overwhelm the golfer, and the water's presence on nearly half the holes provide for manageable forced carries. The course is not long in comparison to some of Hanse's championship renovations, and the wide fairways allow for aggressive tee balls."
French Creek Golf Club (Elverson)
Another Hanse design, French Creek Golf Club features an 18-hole routing that meanders through natural woodland and gently rolling hills for excitement and challenge. The course bears all the old-world charm of a classic Scottish golf course.
Stonewall Links: North Course (Elverson)
Designed by Tom Doak, Stonewall Links' North Course contains impeccably maintained greens lined with numerous trees. According to guests' feedback, the accessible course can be enjoyed by most players.
Stonewall Links: Old Course (Elverson)
Offering a more challenging game than the Stonewall North Course, the Stonewall Links' Old Course has a complex layout with downhill topography. This course has also supported the 2016 U.S. Mid-Amateur Tournament and the 2023 Women's Mid-Amateur Tournament.
White Manor Country Club (Malvern)
This golf club is set largely within a valley with a creek diagonally bisecting the property. Golf Digest notes, "Each nine begins by playing down into the base of the valley, where you then traverse up, across, and down the other side of the ridge, before returning to the clubhouse by climbing back up the slope to complete both nines. The creek and several ponds feature prominently on multiple holes on both nines.
"As you would expect with the topography, elevation changes factor into several shots throughout the course. White Manor is full of risk/reward scenarios, and often within different points on the hole; from the tee, fairway, and also green. The constant decision making on each hole makes for a very fun round of golf."
