Wildwood Launches Inaugural Floating Food Tour

Attention all foodies: Get ready to embark on a new food tour experience in Wildwood starting Tuesday, June 17.

Wildwood has debuted a floating food tour, launched by Sandbar Joe's Boat Charters, on the back bay. Participating restaurants in the experience include waterfront restaurants The Surfing Pig from North Wildwood (offering brunch-inspired barbecue), The Wharf from Wildwood (delivering surf and turf), and the Boathouse Restaurant & Marina Deck from Wildwood (providing classic beach cuisine).

The family-friendly cruises last about three hours, and the event is BYOB. Attendees are invited to bring their own beverages or they can buy drinks from any of the nearby restaurants.

The Food Tour Cruise will set sail on its first voyage from the dock at 626 W. 26th Ave. in Wildwood beginning Tuesday, June 17. It will be available Mondays through Fridays throughout the summer season, rain or shine. Tickets start at $135 per person; group discounts are available.
