Riley Green is a mega star in country music, as we all know, but he's also quite the looker. Known as perhaps the best-looking country star today, when he made a quick adjustment and shaved his mustache, well, the internet went crazy. So, we had to ask him what exactly went down.

Check out the entire interview with him. We chatted not only about facial hair but also about his very generous gesture in a charity softball game. He is a huge supporter of Folds of Honor and gave a huge donation to give back to this organization.

Riley Green didn’t expect the buzz that came with shaving off his signature mustache. “I had no idea it was going to turn into a whole thing,” he laughed. “There was an article in the Daily Mail about it. There must have just been nothing going on that day.”

Shifting gears, Riley also talked about the fan-favorite track “Worst Way.” “ I mean it's quickly become one of the biggest moments in my set, you know, live and a lot of fun to play.”

Some of the Best Riley Green Songs

Riley Green has made a huge impact in country music over the last couple of years since blasting onto the scene. "I Wish Grandpas Never Died" was a beautiful tribute to his late grandfathers and became his first really big hit.

Then "There Was This Girl" was another huge success for Green. This set his roots in country music, and he established himself as a serious artist after these two big songs.

And then collaborations with Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett got him more and more country radio airplay. "Different 'Round Here" and "Half of Me" were both really big songs on the radio station, but then everything changed with "Worst Way."

This sultry and romantic song showcases the crazy ability of this artist to truly do it all.

Riley Greene Name Coincidence

He actually shares a name with a professional baseball player, Riley Greene of the Detroit Tigers. A little bit of a different spelling, as you can see, however, he actually had a run-in with him. It led to a pretty hilarious conversation, about time these two met!

Here's the MLB player, Riley Greene. They don't have a striking resemblance in the looks department, but the name alone is something to laugh about.
